The research databases provided by the library allow you to search for newspaper, magazine, and journal articles, as well as many other types of electronic resources, many of which are available full-text. To access these databases you must first log on the system. To log on, click on the link below and follow the directions below the picture:
1. Make sure Daytona State College appears in the first box.
2. Type in your Social Security Number (without dashes) as your Borrower ID.
3. Type in the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number as your PIN number.
4. Click Log on.
If you get an error message, try re-typing the information. If you still have trouble, call the Circulation Desk at 386.506.3055 or the Reference Desk at 386.506.3518.
Note: Some security software packages (Norton, McAfee, etc.) may interfere with your ability to access some databases. If you receive an error message when trying to access a particular database or you are asked for another login, you may need to temporarily disable or shut off your security software. You can usually do this by right clicking on the security icon in your task tray in the lower right hand corner of your screen.
